Our Method

How LovelyCocoon articles are written, fact-checked and corrected.

Who writes them

The blog articles are signed by the LovelyCocoon editorial team. We write them with the help of artificial intelligence tools, using the same method for every text: start from the question parents are asking, verify what needs to be verified, then proofread before publication.

Where the information comes from

On pregnancy, breastfeeding and baby health, we rely on the recommendations of health authorities: the Haute Autorité de santé (the French national health authority), Assurance maladie (the French national health insurance), Santé publique France (the French public health agency), and the Centre de référence sur les agents tératogènes for medications. The main sources are cited at the end of each article. For first names, birth figures come from the Insee first names file (the French national statistics institute).

Articles published before October 2026 did not always display their sources. We are gradually updating them, starting with the most-read ones.

What our articles do not replace

Our articles provide information. They do not replace a consultation or the advice of a doctor, midwife or pharmacist. If you have any doubt about your health or your child's health, ask a professional for advice.

Images

The images that illustrate the articles are generated or come from royalty-free image libraries. They show a typical situation, not a real person from our circle.

Partnerships

Some articles are produced in partnership with brands or companies. Outside of these cases, the choice of topics and the content are the sole responsibility of the editorial team.
